We had a delightful meal at the Mazarine. We ordered the tiramisu pancakes, the shish tawook club and the shakshuka. Everything was delicious and the portions were on the bigger side. The service was excellent as well. If you are looking for a good brunch place in Ottawa you must stop at the Mazarine!

My partner and I ate here for brunch on a Sunday and it was so lovely. The staff was attentive, kind, and timely. Everything on the menu looked divine, so it was very difficult to choose what to order. They also had a wide selection drinks (we settled on baileys in a coffee, and the iced strawberry matcha). Our food came out hot and was delectable. We will definitely come back. I would recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for a delicious and reasonably priced brunch.

Nice place. Friendly service. A great twist on classic brunch foods. Portions were perfectly sized for me but others may want to order more than one plate. I had the ultimate toast and a pistachio latte

Saw a recommendation about this place on YouTube and it was a fabulous breakfast spot. The eggs Benedict were tasty with a little kick and the potatoes were crunchy. Had a latte with a honey shot of espresso which was perfect if you are a person that adds sugar to your coffee. The service was also lovely. The pancakes are sweet and had a great bite to them. Definitely recommend this place!

This little brunch spot might be small in size, but it delivers big on flavor and hospitality. The Eggs Benedict were absolutely spot-on—perfectly poached eggs, creamy hollandaise, and a well-balanced base that tied everything together. The pancakes were fluffy, golden, and just the right amount of sweet, making them the ideal sweet complement to the savory main. Yes, the space is a bit tight, so be prepared for a cozy (and possibly slightly crowded) environment, especially during peak hours. But what it lacks in room, it more than makes up for in warmth. The real standout, aside from the food, was the incredibly hospitable server. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, they made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.

The best food experience I have had in a long time. Ordered: Turkish coffee, Shish Tawook Club Sandwich with fries and a side of greens, Yuzu refresher. There is a bit of a wait as each table seems to be prepared separately and the wait is worth it. The Turkish coffee was really good. The sandwiches absolutely out of the world. The bread was toasted to perfection and the flavours of everything on the sandwich combined so perfectly. The fries were cooked to crispy perfection as well and even the greens were dressed with a dressing that was so good. The Yuzu refresher paired perfectly with the sandwich. The server was delightful and helpful. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I will go back.

Mediterranean food is absolutely a cuisine I don't explore enough!! This place is beautifully decorated and bright. I love a good shakshuka and I was able to add both feta and beef kofta skewer. Asked for a side of chili oil too - brought the heat up to a nice medium. Their menu is by QR code and with such beautiful pictures, it was challenging to decide. They have a brunch plate called "The Indecisive" which was actually quite fitting for the moment. The tiramisu pancakes we shared 3-ways for dessert. Not too sweet (which we liked). Great topping-pancake ratio and very fluffy pancakes. Would get again! Solid coffee menu too. I enjoyed a Turkish coffee. It came with a little piece of Turkish Delight. It was not too crowded on a Saturday morning, which was perfect. Came with a party of 3. Would recommend a party of 1-4 for the table settings but it looks like they could push some tables together if you had a larger party. Would absolutely return. Great service, great downtown location, and reasonable prices too! Thank you!

This place is ridiculous. I didn't want the "pancake" because I wanted healthy but got it and I literally made a face I couldn't control when I tasted it because it was such an unexpected flavor explosion. Any place that makes me do that gets top rating. The shakshuka was light but complex. Lovely pistachio latte and hot cocoa in flavor and presentation.
